Overview
Ssezibwa Falls is a small waterfall on the Ssezibwa River in Mukono District. According to Buganda legend, the river was born as a twin from a human mother, and the site has long been sacred.
It's still visited by people seeking blessings from traditional spirits, and is a good place to learn about Buganda beliefs. It makes an easy stop on the road between Kampala and Jinja.
