Overview
Kabwoya Wildlife Reserve covers about 87 km² of savanna, woodland and riverine forest on the escarpment and shoreline of Lake Albert, south of Hoima.
It's small and quiet, and has an unusual mix of habitats in one place: open grassland with Uganda kob and buffalo, forest along the rivers with primates, and the lakeshore with its fishing villages and water birds.
