Overview
The Ssese Islands are a group of 84 islands in the northwest of Lake Victoria, forming Kalangala District. The largest, Bugala, has most of the resorts and the town of Kalangala.
It's the place to relax by the water after a safari, with sandy beaches, tropical forest, fishing villages and beautiful sunsets over the lake.
