Overview

East Madi Wildlife Reserve covers about 830 km² of savanna and woodland along the Albert Nile in northern Uganda, between Adjumani and Amuru districts.

It's largely undeveloped for tourism and visited mainly by researchers and adventurous travellers. It's part of the Uganda Wildlife Authority's long-term plan to restore wildlife in the north.
