Overview
Moshi is a friendly town at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, and the main base for climbing it. On clear mornings, the mountain's snow-capped summit fills the view.
The lower slopes are the home of the Chagga people and their coffee farms, waterfalls and banana groves. They're well worth a day, whether or not you're climbing.
